Why should you take the IDF Navigation Diver course?

The most important skills you will acquire during the IDF Navigation Diver course concern conscious movement in water – choosing and recognising directions and plotting a route. You will learn how to observe your environment, what clues to use and what to look out for in order to skilfully use natural navigation. In addition, you will master the use of a compass to plan and follow your own routes.
What does the course look like?
Practical training
4 open water dives with a total duration of at least 100 minutes
Maximum depth
In accordance with the current qualifications of the student
Theory
Student manual and lectures based on IDF materials
Theoretical exam
Single-choice electronic test
What do you need to get started?
- Be at least 15 years old
- IDF Open Water Diver certificate
- Be in good health to participate in the course
